The winemaker
Coming from a family of wine growers for generations, Philippe Couvreur elected its vineyards over the years in order to develop his own champagne. Part of the family farm was taken over by his son Gabriel in the 1970s Accompanied by his wife Odile, they develop the vineyard, modernized operations and together founded the House Roofer-Deglaire. Today is Isabelle and her husband Sombat which in turn are guarantors of the family passed from generation expertise to generation. "Manipulating Reaping," they cultivate the vine and develop their sparkling patiently in compliance with the Champagne tradition.
