The winemaker

In 1976, 4 generations of the Gratiot family had already succeeded each other at the head of the estate. In 1997, Rémy Gratiot (5th generation) took over the reins of the estate located in Charly-sur-Marne in Champagne.

He is driven by the desire to offer unique, authentic Champagnes, reflecting his terroir, his region and the well-preserved family traditions. His wife Amélie Perrier Gratiot has been working as an ambassador for the Maison Gratiot at his side since 2012 and travels the four corners of the world to present their Champagnes to wine professionals.

The Champagne House was originally named "Champagne Gratiot Gérard" which Rémy decided to change the name to "Champagne Gratiot & Cie" in order to represent more the family adventure of this House. Champagne Gratiot & Cie, it's 5 generations of entrepreneurs, all gathered under the same entity!
