The winemaker

From an old family of winemakers, has for centuries in Champagne, the Vignon family again was just developing its Champagnes after the end of World War II. Rigor tasks, great passion for wine and work of a magnificent terroir - being among the most famous in Champagne! -, so are the values ​​at the service of an identity and a style unique to our Champagnes, and has been for over 60 years ... All our wines are therefore Grand Cru, and vinified with natural yeasts of Verzenay Earth. Our assemblies are mostly from Pinot Black and Chardonnay, and for the vast majority, from old to see very old vines. In respect to the maximum their soil, their origin, identity, these fragmented vintages amounted drums (with part of barrels from family forest on Verzenay) on lees, without gluing or filtration. Chaptalization, if nature allows, is not sought. The nature and wine then decide, each year bringing key vintage to the natural character of the wine. To ensure extra authenticity, the assay is performed in general in Extra-Brut. Our Champagnes are vinified and with minimal intervention ... to the delight of the palace!
