Domaine Lacroix-Triaulaire: A family-run Champagne house producing elegant, mineral wines

Domaine Lacroix-Triaulaire is a family-run champagne house located in Merrey-sur-Arce, in the Côte des Bar region of France. The estate was founded in 1962 by Jacques Lacroix and his wife, Lucienne Cosson. Jacques' son, Théodore, took over the domaine in 1983, joined today by his sister Marie-Claire.

The estate comprises 8 hectares of vines, planted with 55% pinot noir, 35% pinot meunier, 9.5% chardonnay and a small plot of pinot blanc. The vineyards are located on a variety of soils: chalk, clay and limestone.

Théodore and Marie-Claire are committed to sustainable viticulture. They practice organic farming and intervene very little in the winemaking process. Wines are vinified in stainless steel vats and aged for at least 18 months before being marketed.
