Christian zuria began planting vines in the bonifacio area in 2013. With the help of his wife nadine and son ivan, he has accomplished a titanic task: this young certified organic estate is in full development and is beginning its conversion to biodynamic viticulture. In the years to come, Christian zuria is set to write a landmark chapter in the history of island wines on this revitalized terroir. The sciaccarellu variety, complemented by the rare Morescone autochthonous variety, is showing enormous potential here. A spectacular winery at the foot of the vines, with a tasting room, will be built in 2021, and will enable the estate to reach cruising speed. On the old limestone soils of Bonifacio, Domaine Zuria has quickly established itself as one of Corsica's finest southern wines. Domaine zuria's red Aria cuvée comes from Sciacarellu vines planted on east-facing granite terroirs. Hand-harvested, vinified and aged in stainless steel vats. The nose reveals delicious notes of wild strawberries, fresh red berries and spices. Fresh and supple on the palate, thanks to perfect balance.
