The winemaker

The vineyard consists of traditional varieties of protected designations of Languedoc, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, for terroir AOP, and a wide range of varieties of different French regions for the part Pays d'Oc with Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, leMalbec the Black Pinot, Tannat, the Marselan, Muscat, Grenache Gris, Sauvignon, Vermentino, leViognier ... The estate vineyard covers high ancient terraces of the Orb river, sandy-gravelly material compounds, bound with red clay. It is a precious terroir of the appellation Coteaux du Languedoc and St Chinian. This terroir is composed exclusively, on dozens of meters deep gravel soils that drain well and allow the roots to penetrate deeply, giving mineral wines with very fine tannins. Mus extends along the foothills of the Languedoc, protected from the prevailing winds in the foothills of the Massif Central. The location is ideal, exactly the same distance from the Mediterranean as mountains of Caroux. Climatic influences are perfectly balanced. Added to this the influence of the Orb, which plays a role in regulating minimum and maximum temperatures.
