The winemaker

Its history is intertwined with the history of France, and particularly that of the Languedoc region, in the past very rich and remains dating back to the Roman occupation. Under Louis XIV, the castle served Paraza remains the engineer Pierre Paul Riquet during part of the construction of the canal linking the Mediterranean to the Atlantic then called Canal du Roy. Passion for wine, travel and history, Annick and Pascal Danglas decide to embark on a new adventure: the recovery of a winery. In 2005, their choice is the ancestral domain of the Château de Paraza in Minervois. They then face the challenge of their first harvest. BETWEEN US, we had not expected it would be so complicated to take the field. So, it brought us together: first Matthew and Anthony, and finally the youngest, Lucile. We were all inexorably drawn to this incredible challenge to cultivate the land, to make a good wine and renovate the property to share with our visitors. Driven by the dream of their parents, they contribute to the family business combining effort and innovation, each in their specialty.
