The winemaker

Château de Sérame owns a vineyard of over 230 ha, made up of several adjoining estates acquired over the centuries, in the Corbières and Minervois appellations: Abbaye de Lengoust, Seigneurie d'Argens and, of course, Château de Sérame, bordered by the Aude and the Canal du Midi. Wine-growing on the lands of Château de Sérame is attested as far back as the first century AD. Château de Séram wines flourished between the 12th and 18th centuries, becoming one of the most important wine estates in the Languedoc. It was in 1802 that the Exéa family, the current owners, settled on the lands of Château de Sérame. With over 2 centuries of family tradition behind them, the Exéa family share their love of vines and wine. With a view to respecting the environment, the vineyard is farmed organically.
