The winemaker

Between the Mediterranean and the foothills of the Espinouse and Cévennes mountains, in the Hérault region, the Château des Estanilles estate is located in the hamlet of Lenthéric, in the commune of Cabrerolles, one of the seven villages of the Faugères AOC. The hillside vineyard of Les Estanilles extends over 35 hectares at an altitude of 300 m, on some of the finest terroirs in the appellation; the Estagnols and Fontanilles parcels are the source of the estate's name. In summer, the Estanilles vineyard is easily recognizable: cordon de royat pruning, well-ordered trellising and high foliage allow each leaf to capture a maximum amount of sunlight, which is then returned in noble tannins and aromas stored in every grain of every bunch.Since 2008, we have been certified organic.
