The winemaker

The Chateau du Donjon is located in the South of France, in the Languedoc region, specifically in Bagnoles, 10 kilometers from Carcassonne, the AOC Minervois and Cabardes. This is the Panis-Mialhe family, winemakers since the fifteenth century, which manages the domain. Jean Panis, the winemaker of the Castle, signed his first vintage in 1996. The special touch of the Castle Dungeon is its special attention to the fruity wine. They want the greedy, soft and loose, to share with friends without moderation. Shortly after acquiring the domain, Jean Panis hiring assistance, Caroline, who will soon become his teammate at the Chateau as in life. The Castle Dungeon meanwhile belongs from the fifteenth century to the family of John. It was originally an annex less of the abbey of Caunes, where his destiny mapped out in the wine business. Gradually, time measurement, the field has expanded, acquiring land in the municipality of Villemoustaussou, which allowed the Castle Dungeon produce a range of AOC Cabardès and IGP Côtes de Carcassonne.
