The winemaker

Built on a total area of ​​77 ha of vineyards, the area has a clay and limestone soil, stony the majority of plots is facing south. We grow the traditional varieties of the Appellation Corbières: Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Mourvèdre. Our range of wines do not stop at Corbières, we also offer wines from Pays d'Oc: the Viognier and Grenache. The constant regularity of the quality of our wines for over 25 years has raised us from the best vineyards of Corbières. Château Etang des Colombes is a family owned for 4 generations. Henry Gualco began to put the wines bottled field since 1973 and has actively participated in its development to convey the property to his son Christophe. Our expertise in winemaking and grape growing is transmitted from father to son, and is enriched by a passionate team. The oldest plots of the area have until sixty years, allowing priority to develop the Cuvée Vieilles Vignes and selection of Bois des Dames. The historic vintages of Domaine are: Bois des Dames red and white, which is famous Castle, the classic Bicentennial wine with old high vines in oak barrels, and of course the Rose Printed dry and fruity that found on many tables in the region.
