The winemaker

LANGUEDOCIEN and OCEANIC, here are the terms that define excellence and uniqueness of this region. We find ourselves here as if by magic, at the confluence of two climates: the Mediterranean influences bring generosity and sun conducive to beautiful maturities. The westerly flow, meanwhile, maintain moisture and freshness necessary for the expression of the fruit. The diversity of soil completes the picture; serious terraces, with big pebbles, dominate the half hillsides that slope facing the Pyrenees. This diversity of soils has fueled my curiosity throughout the renovation of the vineyard to associate very different varieties! I made a place of honor in Mediterranean varieties Syrah and Grenache to associate with those of oceanic origin and focus more Bordeaux: Merlot and Cabernet. I also introduced the very iconic Burgundy grape varieties Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, plus aboriginal and local Mauzac and Chenin blanc.
