The winemaker

Matthieu Torquebiau acquired the Domaine de L'Hermas in 2004. This passionate winegrower wished to perpetuate the family tradition by establishing himself on the site of his grandfather's estate. The estate is part of the Terrasses du Larzac PDO. Established at an altitude of almost 250 m, it is committed to environmentally-friendly viticulture. The vineyard covers around 10ha and the vines are undergoing organic conversion. The vineyard comprises mainly Mourvèdre and Syrah vines. Terrasse de Larzac 2011, L'Hermas 2007 and L'Hermas 2016 are just some of the outstanding wines produced by Domaine de L'Hermas.
