The winemaker

Located on a hillside, the Domaine de la Prose extends over 28 hectares of which 17 hectares are classified AOC Saint-Georges. The wines of St. George were renowned in the eighteenth century and classified as Burgundy wines and is already exporting to Russia and the United States. Bertrand, installed with his parents, was always interested in biodynamic farming. Inspired by the exceptional situation of protected land and surrounded by oaks and scrub, he was introduced to the various schools and converts its field gradually. In 2004, the field gets the certification. It engages in a culture without pesticides or other synthetic chemicals.
