The winemaker

Coming from a peasant family for 8 generations, we continue to cultivate the land in the area with the greatest respect for nature. We are in organic farming since 1998, soil conservation and respect of our customers have been the triggers of our approach. Our vineyard is located on a clay and limestone soil with features that allow our vines to express themselves fully. Our work is constantly challenged to limit disruptions to the ground and plants. To this end: we no longer work the land, we sow cover crops that help maintain its layers and protect it from the weather. In the cellar, we are pursuing the same accompanying philosophy, minimizing interventions on our wines. We produce an average of 40 to 50 hl / ha, far authorized returns that we believe undermine and weaken the plants. This is a team of 5 to 6 people working on the field and we owe them the mindset that prevails there and the quality of our wines. In recent years we grow old varieties of wheat flour that we turn into the grounds. The rediscovery of a fresh flour and exceptional quality is one of the pleasures of our farming trade. We are also part of the roots network of farms with an educational project to share with school classes. Our role is also in the fun and learning approach for future generations.
