The winemaker

The field is operated by Guiraudon families Moustiés and Rabasa. They are continuing the process that made the reputation of Mortiès. The respect for nature completely determines the future. The area is entirely driven organically certified by Ecocert. The introduction of biodynamics on part of the vineyard is also a major act for the development of natural wines. This approach essentially based on observation and experimentation of ancient techniques, can only be done gradually over the vintages with an analysis of the response on the ground and vegetation for better adaptation to very specific terroir that is the combe Mortiès. The increase very measured from the area under vines and planting non-cloned old varieties are all decisions in harmony with these basic principles.
