The winemaker

Located in the Languedoc, in the heart of the Camargue, between the Etang de Oro and the Cevennes, the Enclos Domaine de la Croix is ​​operated organically in the village of Lansargues. Established in 1814, Enclos Domaine Cross took a turn there about 40 years. Aramon and Carignan gave way to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Manseng and Riesling. Eight generations of passionate and loyal to his family land successively taken over the wine culture of 23 hectares for the lead gradually to organic farming. It started with a soft soil cultivation (no chemical fertilizers, no pesticides, return to animal traction and sheep to control weeds in winter). Today the area is also very committed to an agro-ecological approach offering a privileged biodiversity where vegetable garden, orchard, hedges, trees, sheep, chickens and horses have a place and a role recognized and greatly reduce the use of pesticides. The enclosure of the Cross is an adventure for two hundred years each square in the heart of this project. Live from work, thrive in this place of all generations.
