The winemaker

Located in the Aude, on Malepère appellation area in the village of Alaigne, the Girard Estate Winery is one of more than 30 hectares, cultivated according to the principles of sustainable viticulture by Philippe Girard, on a soil altitude. Born to a family passion, the estate is passed from generation to generation. Here, we always favors the local spirit and quality. The harvest is carried essentially to the machine, but from the grapes are harvested by hand, in crates to limit bruising of the grapes.
