The winemaker

Family farm for four generations, located in the Corbières about the town of Monze, picturesque village nestled at the foot of Mount Alaric on the secondary D3 halfway between Carcassonne and the Benedictine Abbey of Lagrasse. The vineyards cover eight hectares composed of black grenache, syrah, carignan old vines for soft red with complex aromas. Cinsault grape brings fruity pale rosé wine. Gray Grenache, Marsanne, Viognier seduce lovers of floral white wines with a mineral edge. Rooted in the limestone scree of Alaric Mountain and its clay-limestone soils, the family vineyard The Lause enjoys significant metalling, pledge of early and optimal maturity. It is the passion of the terroir and respectful winemaker practice environment and the consumer, passed for 4 generations, the family Caverivière implements in this vineyard of 8 hectares. The wines from this exceptional terroir, there are "shaped" and prepared with finesse, love and generosity from 7 varietals (Carignan, Syrah, Grenache black, gray Grenache, Cinsault, Viognier, Vermentino), on the area of ​​Protected Designation of Origin Corbières.
