The winemaker

Between the coast and the Mediterranean scrub, Domaine the Yeuses was built in the thirteenth century by the Knights Templar on the site of an ancient Roman villa. Over the centuries, the building hosted a hospital, the first consul of Meze during the French Revolution and a winery. The area is named for a forest of oaks "the oaks" in patois. Today oaks have disappeared, replaced by an avenue of trees. The Estate The vineyard Yeuses covers more than 80 hectares; on a very local limestone semi-slopes, the grapes benefit from the maritime influence. This original situation favors the acclimatization of varied varieties. The area belongs to the Dardé family for over 30 years, Jean-Paul Michel, the brothers share growing grapes and making wine. The area is known and recognized for its extensive range of pure varietals; the geographical situation of vineyards give all wines, white, rosé and red, extremely fresh and beautiful aromatic typicality.
