The winemaker

The vineyard is made up of several parcels, ranging from very young to older vines. They are planted on clay-limestone soils. The plots benefit from the Mediterranean climate, which brings lightness and freshness to the wines. The grape varieties used at Domaine Olivier Mavit are traditional but adapted to the terroir: Grenache Gris, Cinsault, Syrah, Grenache Noir, Carignan and Mourvèdre. Only one white wine is made on the estate: Victorine. All the others are red wines.
