The winemaker
South of France, at the foot of the Larzac plateau, facing the Mediterranean, in St Saturnin de Lucian, is the field Virgile Joly. It is a recognized land where the climate, soil, vines and men produce great wines for centuries. The young family team cultivates vineyards in organic farming and biodynamics near, respecting nature without herbicides or synthetic chemicals. Great importance is given to the rhythm of nature, ecosystems and diversity. The old estate vineyards are cultivated and harvested by hand, to produce limited quantities of grapes of a concentration and finesse for developing wines.
