The winemaker

We are at the heart of the Minervois-La Livinière at the bottom of the foothills of the Black Mountain. This is where Jean-Philippe Charpentier has settled. Descendant of generations of Champagne wine growers, he left in 1998 his professorship at the agricultural school of Avize, and his native Champagne, to follow his wife, Laurence, in the Languedoc. First manager of a property in Carcassonne, he is then master Blanquetier in Limoux. In 2003, the opportunity arose to create its domain: it acquires its first 5 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the beautiful Minervois-La Livinière. The plots are nestled in the heart of a beautiful scenery and unspoilt wilderness.
