The winemaker

Le Clos des Suds today is a vineyard of 7.5 ha, located between land and scrubland in a preserved and wild environment. We are at the heart of an exceptional site, at the foothills of the Massif Central (Black Mountain) on the intersection designations Minervois St Jean de Minervois and St. Chinian. Our vineyards are located in Minervois appellation area at an altitude of between 250 and 300 meters. We enjoy working with the old traditional grape varieties well adapted to our region but which are not always recognized by the decrees of our appellation syndicates. That's why part of our wines are marketed outside AOC.
