The winemaker

Over the centuries, the territory of the Corbières Minervois has been marked since the tenth century by the passage of many tribes, Celts, Ligurians, Romans, Visigoths, Saracens and Franks. Many remains bear witness to this tumultuous past, including Stopovers a Romanesque church founded by Charlemagne in his way to Spain the ninth century, late tenth century building, and a medieval tower, the last vestige of the second village founded in Ports of Call 1096. We can also find on Tourouzelle a church of Our Lady with a modified tower of the fourteenth century, a dolmen and a Gallo-Roman burial site "the Pardous" and a Romanesque chapel of "Santa Cecilia". The magic of wine. On the stony terraces and clay and limestone slopes, the grapes bask under the powerful sun of southern France. Alchemy soil and Mediterranean climate resulting authentic wines and harmonious tradition and purposes and also wines of fruity and fond countries are discovering or red, pink and white.  Some produce Minervois, Corbières the other, but their love of the vine and wine were united. Thus winemakers Tourouzelle and Escales gave birth to the cellar the "two lands".
