The winemaker

After fifteen years traveling across France, Fabrice Bonmarchand, building engineer returns to his origins, his love of nature and the land to give a new impetus to Mas Uncle. It is an exploitation of 15 hectares created in 2004 it took over in 2011 with a lot of ideas in mind and beautiful projects. For red wines, the area of ​​cultivated Uncle Mas 3 main varieties. We find 45% Syrah, 30% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre, which are the basis of their wines in AOC Pic Saint Loup. They also grow on the farm, 5% Carignan and 5% Cinsault, which are also vinified in WCA. The rest is planted to 10% Merlot and 10% Chenanson hybrid grape created by INRA Montpellier from a clone of Grenache and black jurançon, which is vinified in PGI Saint Guilhem the Desert Val de Montferrand. To complete their production, they currently have 2 hectares of white grape leased, mostly Sauvignon and Vermentino. The Domaine's Uncle Mas has recently a new winery designed by architect Rudy Ricciotti the vineyards of the Pic Saint Loup. The buildings clad wood vanish before the splendor of the landscapes.
