In a few words ...
The domaine was born of a partnership between three former cooperative members from maury and the younger generation from domaine de la rectorie in banyuls. In 2001, they moved into the premises of a former cooperative winery, before relocating to a new winery in saint-paul-de-fenouillet. The vineyard is located at high altitude in the north-western part of the Pyrénées-Orientales department, on the plateau overlooking the Maury valley to the south, in a village formerly known as Centernach, which was home to a former Templar possession, hence the name of the estate: La Préceptorie (Preceptorie was the name given by the Templars to a small foundation).
