At the heart of the Loire Valley and the gateway to Sologne, The Cave of the Great Brush is a former quarry whose origin dates back to the tenth century. Its stones were used in the foundations of several churches in the area, but also to the construction of its most prestigious castles including those of Chambord and Cheverny. Today, The Cave of the Great Brush offers a tour of its galleries located 40 meters below ground, followed by a tasting of the estate wines by the owner-grower Philippe Oudin.
