Château Guipière is located at the mouth of the Loire River in Vallet. Considered as the capital of Muscadet, this rich terroir is the cradle of great white wines. The Château's vineyard now covers an area of 28 hectares on a mosaic of soils composed of eruptive and metamorphic rocks. The winemaker

Château Guipière is located in the heart of the Pays Nantais in Vallet. The history of the castle dates back to the 15th century. Formerly called La Guiptière, this locality was attached to one of the most influential seigneuries in the region. The cultivation of vines was established on the château's land from 1842 onwards. It is therefore with a long history of wine making that the estate offers us today its know-how and in particular its speciality, Muscadet.

Since 2015, the Château has been owned by Philippe Nevoux. The 28 hectare vineyard is managed by Stéphane Gouraud. Located on a combination of soils typical of the Nantes region with eruptive and metamorphic rocks, the vineyard is mainly composed of Melon de Bourgogne, Folle Blanche and Pinot Gris. Château Guipière, concerned about preserving the incredible biodiversity of its terroir, has undertaken an environmental approach that led to obtaining High Environmental Value certification in 2018.
