The winemaker

Domaine Bourdin-Chancelle is a winegrowing estate located in southwest France, in the Gironde department. It produces high-quality red, white and rosé wines, mainly from the Merlot grape variety. The Domaine Bourdin-Chancelle vineyard covers more than 60 hectares and is planted with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Sauvignon Blanc. The vines are planted on clay-limestone soils, giving them a mineral structure and a unique character. The wines produced by Domaine Bourdin-Chancelle are terroir-driven, intense and well-balanced. The reds are elegant and fruity, with notes of red and black fruits, licorice and spices. The whites are round and aromatic, with notes of exotic fruit, flowers and citrus. Rosés are fresh and fruity, with notes of raspberry, strawberry and peach.
