The winemaker
The Field of the Forgotten was born in 2009 from the will of a former wine merchant, Xavier Courant, becoming winemaker. It is on the Bourgueil appellation, with 6 hectares of vineyards (5 ha of Cabernet Franc and Chenin 1 ha) it settles. A central idea: a vine growing without chemicals, tilled soils (plowing reintroduction of the horse) and living that give healthy grapes with the expression of their terroir.
