Domaine de la Tourette is located in the town of Maisdon on Sevre, about 20 km south east of Nantes. Maisdon on Sevre is a small rural village of 2500 inhabitants whose primary activity is viticulture: 900 hectares of vines in production for a total area of 1745 hectares. Two rivers define the town: the Sèvre and Maine north west. These two rivers have given its name to the most famous appellations of the Nantes region: Muscadet Sevre et Maine.
