The winemaker

Located in the heart of the Chinon appellation, Domaine des Béguineries overlooks the Vienne valley. It covers 11 hectares of Cabernet Franc for the reds and chenin 2ha typical grape of the Loire Valley, for whites. Jean Christophe PELLETIER, wineries in Chinon in the family business for 80 years, created his own domain in 2001. Beguineries Domain's vineyards are cultivated in organic and face south, they take advantage of the summer heat that gives the grapes their maturity and marked tannins.
