The winemaker

Eric Morgat is installed from now twenty years in Savennières. Coming from a family of winemakers in Anjou for more than two centuries, including Château du Breuil in Beaulieu sur Layon until 2006, Eric Morgat is now one of the emblematic figures of thought. All parcels Eric Morgat was selected from the best terroirs. sometimes difficult terroir to grow, but as Eric Morgat likes to say "always carry a great promise." The six hectares of vines are planted exclusively Chenin, grown in certified organic. The winemaking are traditionally very naturally with breeding vintages of 22 months in barrels of 400l. Perfectionist and rigorous, Eric Morgat is one of the great names of Savennières. it gives the Chenin an unexpected expression. Eric Morgat wines are imbued with authenticity and a remarkable precision.
