The winemaker

Successor to a long line of winemakers, Jean-Paul and Magali BALLAND have, for 40 years, patiently valued the family estate. They now operate 24 hectares of Sancerre (20 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc - 4 hectares of Pinot Black). Their two daughters, Isabelle and Elise have now joined the field, which remains family. John Paul is still active and passionate, he takes care of the vineyard. Isabelle, winemaker, working in the cellar and is responsible for winemaking. John Paul has gradually transferred its experience and know-how. Elise is responsible for the administrative and commercial part.
