The Domaine les Canons and the Layon Valley
The vines of Domaine Les Canons are spread over different villages, most of which are located on the terroirs of Anjou Noir. The soils are schistose, composed of volcanic rock and sandstone. The king grape variety in Anjou is Chenin. Domaine Les Canons also grows Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay for white wines. For red wines, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Gamay and Grolleau are used.

At Domaine Les Canons, several ranges of wines are produced. Cépages" are wines that contain only one grape variety in their composition. Parcellaires" are wines produced with a single grape variety, also from different parcels.
