Certified High Environmental Value (HVE3), the Pierre and Bertrand Couly estate is a fervent advocate of organic farming. The winemakers have banned the use of pesticides and sulfur. Similarly, special emphasis is placed on preserving biodiversity. Specializing in the production of wines known as Chinon, Domaine Pierre et Bertrand Couly is a Mecca of winemaking.
