In a few words ...
Medium straw yellow in color, the nose of Mont demi-sec opens with a subtle perfume of white flowers, lightly candied stone fruit, freshly cut granny smith apple and a smoky, stony note typical of the area. In the background are orange zest and salty lemons with a slightly iodized, refreshingly bitter component. All this is finely woven and coherent. palate this feeling that everything is tightly woven into an artistic pattern is also found on the palate, where fruit, acidity, phenolic and minerality have found each other, even now, while the wine is still young. The mont demi-sec is fresh and juicy, with an almost opulent yellow fruitiness of ripe stone and pome fruits. Of course, aromas of pear and quince dominate here too, as if they'd been picked at the exact moment when they were on the verge of crispness and juiciness. To the fruit are added slightly phenolic, smoky and spicy notes, reminiscent of tobacco, as well as the aforementioned salt and the finely bitter, pungent components of ginger and kumquat.
