Vouvray Pétillant is a blend of two vintages, guaranteeing consistent pleasure from one year to the next. Minimum 12 months storage on laths before disgorging.

Appearance
The Chenin grape here has a lovely light yellow color, tinged with green hues, and the effervescence is discreetly overcast on the pour, followed by a few fine bubbles.
Aroma
Au premier nez le vin offre des aspects « pâte à pain », ces arômes fermentaires sont l’expression de l’action des levures. Ensuite nous retrouvons des notes plus ou moins marquées d’amandes, de fruits secs et de fruits exotiques.

Taste
On the palate, the attack is lively and fresh. The bubbles are more discreet, and the lower carbon dioxide pressure gives the wine a more vinous character. Aromas of quince, citrus fruit and old-fashioned jam.

Having thought I had bought a vouvray brut, this mellow sparkling wine is excellent, really surprised at how good it is.
