The winemaker

The terroir of Provence wines

The Bastide de Fave estate has a vineyard covering 8 hectares, divided into two parcels that exploit the strengths of the terroir differently. The Bastide de Fave vineyard, with its clay-limestone soil, offers late ripening, while the Notre Dame vineyard, with its limestone soil, has earlier aromatic ripening. The grape varieties grown are Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle.

The wines of Bastide de Fave

The estate has produced medal-winning cuvées by independent winemakers. The rosé cuvées are typical of Provencal wines, fresh and fruity, light and invigorating. The cuvée Héritage blanc is round on the palate, while the cuvée Héritage rouge is intense and fleshy.
