The winemaker

Once upon a time, in the heart of Provence, in the picturesque village of Cotignac, between heaven and earth, a source named Nestuby. Legend has it that the Sun King, Louis XIV, taking the road of Our Lady of Graces during a pilgrimage with his mother in 1660, will be watered with water from the source that irrigates the area, it is becoming "water King" ... this is the magic of water which gives the wine a typical Nestuby and inimitable taste. Family estate of 88 hectares in Côtes de Provence, Chateau Roubaud Nestuby belongs to the family since 1949. In a green setting of the most preserved, teams share a single philosophy: let nature take its course. The deep conviction is that the final quality of the wine depends on the care taken upstream to the cultivation of vines (pruning, plowing and grazing, trellising, green harvest ...) in accordance with the precepts of sustainable agriculture.   A meticulous work, precision, which continues in the cellar. Historical fermenting concrete were added to newer way of new advanced systems: thermo regulated stainless steel vats, pneumatic presses, ... in an ongoing process of quality research.
