The winemaker

Château de Selle is one of Provence's 18 Crus Classé. It was the very first of the Domaines Ott acquired in the early 1900s by Marcel Ott (great-grandfather of the current directors Jean-François and Christian). It is located in Taradeau, in the Côtes-de-Provence appellation, where the family developed the entire winegrowing estate (formerly dedicated to olive and lavender cultivation). In a profound respect for nature, the character of each grape variety and soil is preserved to give each cuvée its own unique character. Cabernet Sauvignon gives complexity, elegance and power. Grenache imparts depth and vinosity. Cinsault adds finesse and roundness, while Syrah adds color.
