When you get to the Castle Cheylus, you can only be seduced by the view; the Ardèche Mountains, the medieval Castle of the fifteenth century, the golden vines are an invitation to Epicureanism. Its owner, the only Dutch Ardèche to have the lilting accent fell in love with the place there nearly 20 years and has never left! Castle Cheylus located in an enclave of 40 hectares of Côtes du Rhône, hanging on the hillside has soil and climate characteristics comparable to those of northern Côtes du Rhône. This soil allows 3 majority varieties (Syrah red, Viognier and Chardonnay for white) to fully express themselves.
