The winemaker

The Castle of Verona was built in the 13th century at the foot of the hilltop village of Vinsobres in the heart of the Drôme Provençale. Pierre Chevalier Verona was then lord of the place from 1277. Its coat of arms has become the emblem of the wines produced there. In the early 20th century, Pelissier family acquired the domain and it developed a quality vineyard over four generations of winemakers. Olive trees were also planted there. The rational and traditional culture is privileged, in the respect of the soil and the environment.
