The winemaker
At Château des Roques in the Vaucluse, Vacqueyras red wines are made with Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes. White Vacqueyras wines are made with Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Bourboulenc and Marsanne. For reds, the fruity, spicy Cuvée du Château is the 2018 vintage of choice. In white, the floral and mineral Cuvée Blanche will be your first choice, in 2016 and 2018 vintages.
