The winemaker
Rochecolombe Castle is a family winery for four generations, now run by Roland Terrace, where the transmission of the wine passion and expertise has an important place. The vineyard of Château Rochecolombe, in one piece, in an area 24 hectares of vineyards, 17 hectares in Côtes du Rhône 7 Côtes du Rhône Villages. The average age of the vines is 50 years. They are planted on hillsides on terraces facing south-east, thus benefiting the most of the sunshine all day. The soil, the ideal exposure and low production give a grape of excellent quality. The perfect alchemy between heaven, earth and the hand of man. Rochecolombe Castle, recently restored, is Directoire style. The cellar, a vaulted hall of the fifteenth century, invites to discover and taste his wines of character.
