The Rhone Valley terroir of Clos de Garaud


Between Mont Ventoux and Montmirail, the sunny, Mistral-swept terroir features two parcels farmed according to their specific characteristics. One, with chalky, fairly stony soil of shallow depth, allows for drainage that favors light, fruity wines. The other, with a clay-limestone soil, has forty-year-old vines that enable the creation of more racy wines for laying down.

The Clos de Garaud wines


The estate offers white, red and rosé wines. The "K blanc", for example, true to the wines of the South, is very acidic, while the "K rouge" is very supple on the palate. The rosé "Intempor'elle" has a generous mouthfeel.
