The winemaker

The field is named Clement Depeyre, grandfather of John Paul Depeyre currently owns the domain. Through this tribute, Clement is the first generation of Depeyre Vigneron Family. At the time of the creation of Clos du Père Clément, the area is covered with vineyards for lamoitié its surface. The two brothers and their father run to create a leading independent areas of the appellation Côtes du Rhône Villages Visan. Le Clos du Père Clément was created in 1972 in the beautiful town of Visan. The vineyard is rooted around a remarkable building from the seventeenth century near the Roman Chapel Notre Dame des Vignes, protected historical monument.  John Paul Depeyre is a wine enthusiast and engaged in his profession. The passion for wine, he holds his paternal grandfather, to whom he pays tribute in his wines. He works his wines in respect for the land and preserve the family treasures. Lover of his native region, he sublimates the land for over 40 years, in authentic and unique wines. This passion and expertise are spread around a glass of wine, and it is not displeasing to our taste buds!
