Vineyard area: 30 ha These grape varieties produce their best on a plateau terroir of rounded pebbles and sandy clay. Syrah is the exception on a sandy-clay terroir ideal for its development. Vine age: 40 years Grape varieties: 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre, 5% Carignan Each grape variety is destemmed, placed in temperature-controlled vats and vinified separately. They are temperature-controlled and racked daily. The wine is aged in stainless steel vats for one year. Bottled on the estate. Thanks to its fruity texture, this Côtes du Rhône goes perfectly with everyday cooking, for the simplest summer or winter dishes: Tapas, chipos and merguez, coquillettes, scallops, chicken with pineapple, cheese.... Hand-harvested Serving temperature: 15°C Ageing potential : 10 years

The appellation Côtes-du-Rhône is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Domaine du Bois de Saint Jean and its 9 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
