A festive, convivial wine by definition, Côtes-du-Rhône primeur must be light and fruity. To achieve this, we vinify it "à la beaujolaise", meaning that fermentation ends in the liquid phase (like a white or rosé) to avoid extracting tannins and retain maximum fruitiness. Composed of 80% Grenache, with just a little Marselan added, this primeur 2023 has aromas of red fruits and can be enjoyed until the end of the year with a charcuterie board or a lentil salad à la lyonnaise. What's more, it's the estate's first organic wine!

The appellation Côtes-du-Rhône is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Domaine des Romarins and its 11 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
